40" Skimming Blades

Forty inches is the widest blade PLONIC makes, built for the jobs where every extra pass costs money: commercial walls, large ceilings and wide-open new builds. A reinforced aluminum backing plate keeps the full width flat so a 40" pull doesn't chatter, and the same 0.5mm European stainless steel insert as the smaller blades keeps the finish quality where a Level 5 spec needs it.

When a 40" makes sense

Skim coat jobs over about 500 square feet, hallways and feature walls, and any ceiling you'd rather finish from the floor on a pole than from a scaffold. In tight bathrooms and stair landings a 32" or 24" is more practical.
