Replacement Blade Inserts

PLONIC housings are aircraft-grade aluminum and last for years. Only the steel edge wears. When it does, slide the end caps off, drop in a fresh 0.5mm European stainless steel insert and the blade glides like new. No new housing, no new handle, no waste.

Which insert do you need?

Inserts are sold by blade width and fit every PLONIC housing of that size: 6", 10", 16", 24", 32" and 40". The 6-Piece Kit ships with a spare insert for each blade; single blades and the 3-Piece Set don't, so most finishers keep one spare per size in the van.

When to replace

Replace the insert when you see nicks or dings that cleaning won't fix, when the edge has gone dull or uneven, when the steel has taken a bend that won't sit flat, or when rust spots persist after a proper clean. Our blade care guide covers cleaning and storage so you replace less often.
