3-Piece Skimming Blade Set with Pole

First time coming across such a large set of skimming blades. Love the multiple sizes, versatile enough to work in different sections of walls and ceiling corners. Works great for my subs repairing large sections of plaster walls in very old houses. Pretty comprehensive set for under $60, durable and easy to clean tools.
Telescopic attachment is interesting, but we pretty to hand skim for more control, so we haven't quite tried out how well it works with the pole. Otherwise attachments seems easy to use and intuitive.

I chose the Plonic Drywall Skimming Blade Set, Stainless Steel 10",16" & 24" Skimming Blades with 28"-62" Extension Handle Pole, Professional Drywall Skimming Tools for Smoothing Wall and Ceiling because I want to finish the drywall in my garage but I ended up doing a few other projects first.
This set provides a complete system for applying smooth skim coats to walls and ceilings. The multiple blade sizes (10", 16", 24") are versatile for different surface areas and finishing work. The stainless steel construction provides controlled flexibility to follow wall contours keeping everything smooth and really easy to handle.
I really appreciate the telescoping extension pole (28"-62") and it really eliminates some ladder trips for ceiling work. The extension pole seems durable but its mount is probably more DIY then professional.
I really like the ergonomic handles. The thermoplastic rubber really reduced hand fatigue during detail work like smoothing wall texture.
I think this kit covers basically everything a DIYer could need and the quality matches the value.

I haven’t used it yet, but I was honestly surprised when I opened it. It feels way more heavy duty than I thought it would. The blades have a nice weight to them and don’t feel cheap or flimsy at all.

I also really like the handle; the grip is cushy and comfortable, which I can already tell will
be nice to hold onto while using it.

I also like the options it comes with.

So far, just from first impressions, it seems like really solid quality. I’m excited to actually try it out.

I used this skimming blade on a bedroom ceiling project and the blade itself does a good job of smoothing out the mud. The extension pole is handy for high spots so I didn't have to live on my ladder all day. However, I’m worried about how long this is going to last. The way the handle clamp grips the plastic housing is way too tight and leaves a deep dent in the material. I suspect that after using it for a few more jobs, that plastic is going to crack or split wide open right where the pressure is. It would be better if the plastic was thicker or if the clamp didn't pinch it so hard.

Surprisingly, the spatulas are not bad. Survived several falls, and hit nails. The blade remained as smooth as it was. It's a pleasure to putty, the blade doesn't live its own life, it doesn't wear like foil, it's comfortable, light and balanced, there's no skew in one side. The only thing that at first caused questions in the design, because of the gaps between the handle and the blade, but in practice they had no meaning for the quality of work. They are totally worth their money!

So this stainless steel drywall skimming blade set came in perfect for a remodel. You’re not gonna have to climb up and down ladders to scrape down the ceiling. You put your mud on the blades and you pull it along. It honestly saved a lot of time it scraped the mud perfectly for me with little to no effort. It comes with different pieces so it becomes very versatile during your renovations or drywall repair repairs. So far we have been using this for about four months. Renovations are going a lot slower than I thought they would be going. In my personal opinion, this is very durable and at the price point. The seller has this at the time of the review. I will say that this is a great value for your money because it’s going to save you some time and possibly some backaches.

Not quite what I'm used to, but I really like them!

They are well designed, both functionally and ergonomically - they get the job done and are comfortable to hold (even with my mongo hands, the grip feels a tad small but isn't uncomfortable). I do like the small hanging tabs as well - a nice touch and they generally stay out of the way as they don't extend beyond the width of the blade.

I think this is a great kit for the price - screeds/skimmers, extension pole, etc.

Very versatile set of drywall mud knives. I have smaller traditional ones up to 12" but recently planned a skimming job to smooth out a wall that has had numerous patches in the past so is not perfectly smooth. The 24" blade in this set will come in very handy for that. These blades are also thicker than than traditional smaller knives with less flex which should give more consistent results with the wide blade. The blades are stainless steel so no worries about rust. Not sure of the grade of steel, but a magnet is only lightly attracted to it -- it sticks, but not very strongly. The different style handles take a little getting used to, but work well. The included handle should minimize my use of ladders in the future.

There are no instructions include for assembling the handle to the blades, but it is easy enough to figure out. If you find yourself regularly doing drywall work at home over time, this is definitely a good investment.
